Hey folks, those who weren’t aware, a really awesome event is on the horizon just over a week from now:
A night bulging with commotion, heaving with excitement and showcasing some of Melbourne’s finest female burlesque entertainers. Sugar Kitten Productions is proud to bring you the first Sugar Kitten Cabaret – a fundraising variety night for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Featuring the likes of grotesque burlesque divas the Voodoo Trash Dolls (pictured), the off beat antics of Bella Du Bois and Miss Jadess (The Tanqerays), the polished pole tricks of Mz Judgment and the Gothic-fused belly dance of Ma’isah (Raqs Gothique, performing with special guests Bellyslap) and our very special rock’n’doll house band Doll Squad, with Clem Bastow (RRR) overseeing the proceedings and Guest Djs (TBA).
As if that wasn’t enough, we also have some spectacular door prizes for you to win from our wonderful breast-loving sponsors; Wildilocks, Circa Vintage, Polyester Books, Haighs Chocolates, Moxi Tampons, Mazi Accessories, Jelllibat and Mineralogie Cosmetics.
This is set to be a exercise in decadence and indulgence, for a cause so worthwhile you won’t even feel guilty the next morning!
Sugar Kitten Cabaret takes place at Level 2, Eurotrash Bar (Gallery Room) in Melbourne on Friday 19 September from 9pm.
Tickets are $18 ($15 conc.) or $20 at the door if available. Tickets available from The Lockworks (McKillop Street, Melbourne) or Polyester Books (Brunswick Street, Fitzroy).
