Thurs, 28th Aug, 10am - Basic short hair tint/colour.
Thurs, 11th Sep, 10am - High lift tint/bleaching on short hair + possible foils.
Thurs, 18th Sep, 8:45am - MALE MODEL treatment w/ scalp massage and haircut.
Thurs, 16th Oct, 8:45am - Colour, cut and finnish (grey coverage).
Thurs, 23rd Oct, 8:30am - MALE MODEL haircut and beard trim.
Thurs, 23rd Oct, 10:30am - MALE MODEL haircut.
Thurs, 30th Oct, 8:45 - Full head foils and blow dry + any combination of colour.
Thurs, 6th Nov, 8:45 - Colour, foils and haircut. Professional set or blow dry.
Thurs, 13th Nov, 8:45 - Colour, foils, haircut and blowdry.
Thurs, 27th Nov, 8:45 - Long hair soft braid (all hair up, barrel curls etc, professional ball/wedding style).
Thurs, 27th Nov, 10:45 - 2 strand braid assessment.
Thurs, 4th Dec, 8:45 - any service, apprentice's choice.

Hey folks,
It's time for yet another model call! But this time we've got something a little bit different. We've had interest from a network TV crew, and we are in need of a "total makeover" model for the afternoon of Thursday September 4th. What we are looking for is someone with very VERY plain hair ie. reasonably long, uncoloured and preferably a natural colour other than black, to do an extreme makeover on. You need to be comfortable with being filmed, and okay with anything we do - which most likely be extreme bright Special Effects colour[s] and a high undercut that we can style into a mohawk. This will cost you the grand total of $0 and possibly launch your tv career [hehe, maybe just kidding about that last bit - but you never know!]

Hi guys! Just a note to remind you that we are always in need of models, but one of our third year apprentices in Melbourne @ The LockWorks, Kate, is in need of a few cutting models in the next few weeks. Model appointments for this service will attract a 30% discount, and are fully supervised by senior staff. We are specifically looking for people for Wednesdays, ideally women with longer hair, grown out layers is also good. Please call [03] 9642 3384 to book.
For our Perth store @ BASE808, we are currently needing models for colours in more "mainstream" styles: blonde foils, highlights, standard permanent colours rather than Special Effects etc - our apprentices still need to do the less adventurous stuff for school even though we don't do too much of this in the salon, our senior staff are very capable in these areas and need opportunities to guide the girls through outside of school. Just a note/reminder for those that aren't aware and may only watch the site through RSS or check the news page directly, Wildilocks @ The Lockworks, our Melbourne salon, has free wireless access for any appointment over one hour. Bring your lappy and you can surf or blog while we do fabulous things to your hair!
We have a new post on our new Wildilocks Treats blog, with 1930's style: Clara Bow, eat your heart out! We're also working on adding more of our stock to the webstore, but it's a tough slog with the Melbourne store really picking up pace, so we apologise for so much only being available in store still, unless you drop us an email to ask if we have or can get in a specific item. We have just recently begun stocking Asylum7 with a range of custom Steampunk corsets and skirts, and we have new designers on the go frantically making new stock which will be arriving soon!
We'd also like to welcome Rob, a new member to the Wldilocks team in the Perth salon @ BASE808 - Rob's been working in the hairdressing industry for eons [well at least a decade] and is quite familiar with the alt scene, but has been hidden away for a while! He's super excited to hone his skills in the more creative side of hairdressing and has some impressive competition work under his belt. Make Rob feel at home when you pop in @ BASE808! :)

One of our Perth apprentices, Mere'Deth, is needing a model for this Thursday 28th January @ 1pm, for a layered cut - with a preference for an exisiting layered cut to be freshened up, but if you don't have layers that's still ok. There is no charge for this service, and will be performed at Taylor Weir in City West. Please call the Perth salon on [08] 9226 3722 and ask for Mere'Deth to organise details if you're interested!
